Currency Converter

The currency converter is a tool that allows you to convert international items with foreign currency into local currency and vice versa. It is the Buyers Responsibility to check the currency conversion before purchasing an item.

To use the Currency Convertor (the following example is based on the Seller being from the United Kingdom and the Buyer from Australia)-

1.  Select the Date (recommended to put today's date) in Authorisation

2.  Put the amount the transaction is for.  For example if you are looking to buy something for 100 UK Pounds put in 100 in  Transaction Amount

3.  Select the currency that the item is selling in.  So if the Seller was from the UK you would choose United Kingdom Pounds in the Currency Drop Down

4.  To convert the currency select the country of the currency that the listing is denoted in.  For example if the item being sold is in United Kingdom Pounds then you would choose United Kingdom Pounds from the Seller field

5.  As the item is being bought by an Australian Member the Australian Dollar would be chosen in the Buyer drop down field

6.  Once this is added Select Calculate

7.  When the calculation is done it will display the conversion rate date, what the amount is of the Buyers currency and what it equals in the Sellers currency.  For example if the item was being sold for 100 United Kingdom Pounds and an Australian Member was buying the item then the Buyer would equal (depending on the exchange rate) approximately 250 Australian Dollars to 100 United Kingdom Pounds.

8.  Select Close Window to close the currency convertor

Below is a list of Currency Types,  these are the three letters listed before the amounts.  These letters identify which currency to convert to before making a purchase.
