Why does a message come up saying my bid was not accepted? |

If a person places a bid that is underneath the proxy bid the following message displays -
The bid you placed for US T$3,850.00 was not accepted. This can occur if the previous high bidder has a Proxy bid in effect. You can try outbidding the Proxy bid at any time by attempting to place another bid.

The unsuccessful bid placed by the person will be logged i.e. if they bid T1200 and there was a proxy of T1300, the bid of T1200 will display, the proxy will display at the next bid increment i.e. T1250 and have (proxy) next to it and the next available bid will be one bid increment higher then the last highest bid, so it would be T1300. |
